A desire for lightness

Lightness is one of the first characteristics required by those approaching glasses. Do you know that lightness also has a thousand gradings? The secret in choosing the right one is subjective sensitivity. There are also those who do not get used to extreme lightness because they have the feeling that the glasses slip away. There are also those who believe that lightweight eyewear must necessarily be minimal. Let's banish the standards and go in search of subjective lightness. In our selection, we try to combine the needs of our customers with the myriad technical and aesthetic aspects necessary so that a pair of glasses not only looks beautiful and functional but is also absolutely yours. If for you lightness is the first requirement that a pair of glasses must have and you want to be inspired...enter our shop window, we will gladly accompany you

Eyes to the sky

The most iconic eyewear shape ever that lends femininity and eccentricity to the look it frames. Born out of American designer Altina Schinasi's belief that eyeglasses displayed in opticians' stores were ugly and boring, the cat-eye shape is inspired by the harlequin mask with upturned corners. Once again, ideas in eyewear dwell in the Veneto and the magic of Venice, which Schinasi frequented and knew well. Abandoned a bit after having starred on the faces of the movie divas of the 50s and 60s, the Cat-Eye shape has returned and is now evergreen. Today it is also declined in nogender, classic, colorful, extreme, avantgarde, and oversize versions.

Art in your hands

When we stand in front of an eyeglass in which the signs of manual workmanship are visible, marrying the balance of the eyewear and giving it uniqueness, we know that it is a selection that belongs to us. Today, the technology that surrounds us has allowed us to make great strides, but it is also the cause of a superfluous quantity of objects that, redundant, too often create chaos. We love to choose the quality of handcrafted eyewear, the craftsmanship is a transparent signature that you can see and touch, and it conveys a charm that we are always proud to bring to you, the end customer. Scratches, embellishing irregularities, brush strokes, wood fibers caressed one by one, chiseling, specific and innovative manual techniques, maniacal attention to detail all accompanying materials selected with care, passion, love.

Searching for personality

Let's confess, the idea of putting a pair of glasses on the face or rather in front of our windows facing the world, always creates a moment of crisis because what we are returning of ourselves to the world around us passes mainly through our eyes. With these glasses will my expression be faithful or at least express what I want to communicate? Rest assured the "right" glasses can not only communicate who you are faithfully but also emphasize your personality traits. Superpowers? No...but almost. If in absolute value a round eyeglass communicates openness, sympathy, fanciness, joy and a squared one severity, harshness, regularity, precision, all is subjective to the face and personality of the wearer. Friends, family and us can help and advise you but the only judge is you who has to wear them. It is paradoxical but when you try on a pair of glasses and look at yourself in the mirror ultimately you know that you are implicitly asking yourself "who am I"? Who are you? Who do you want to be? The frame is the most playful aspect in choosing eyewear, ergo have fun selecting yours!

What is your color?

In these recent times we needed it every day in massive doses to try to color the grey times. But color is an increasingly valued and required feature in eyewear. Let's tell a real truth right away: color in eyewear is nothing without the right design, shape, thickness, material to explode and enhance it. The same rule always applies that an eyeglass is worn to understand its effect because like a perfume it returns the true essence only on your skin. Solid, transparent, translucent, satin, brilliant colors are endless combinations with matter, form and substance and can create beautiful glasses in deed, but if you really want to understand if they are also in their potential you have to wear them because the last piece of the mosaic is always you, the color of your skin, of your eyes. Right now designers and stylists have flooded us with color, and in defiance of what is most "fashionable," each of us has our own preference and can see if the match works.

Timeless charm

There are glasses that have found such a perfect symbiosis with the famous people who chose and wore them that they become the "glasses of." So if the character is in our own chords or his style resembles us or fits a part we want to play, its glasstyle intrigues us and we seek it out. John Lennon's round glasses, Johnny Depp's pantoscopic ones, Wertmuller's white ones, Onassis' thick ones with wide temples, Jackie Kennedy's oversized, black glasses, Audrey Hepburn and Marylin Monroe's butterfly glasses. These are shapes that are still in demand today, and designers never stop reinventing them, embellishing them or simply paying homage to them with craftsmanship using the highest quality materials that last. If you are looking for timeless eyewear get inspired by our selection.

Metal is forever

The very first eyeglasses in history were actually made of metal. Since the noseglasses, a lot of water has passed under the bridge, but metal continues to be a widely used, popular and very versatile material in accommodating new styles and processing techniques. The use of titanium in the modern era has made it possible to make very light and essential eyewear, but modern processing techniques have allowed designers a level of creativity that allows them to create true masterpieces that are solid yet light, colorful, worked in a variety of ways, or chiseled like weaves of the finest lace. Almost all metal glasses have nose pads made of soft sylicon, ceramic, titanium. We know they are unloved because the weight is concentrated where they rest. It's really all about balancing the eyewear (considered in its sum lens plus frame) but again ...get advice if you have doubts and absolutely try them on! Curious about what you can do with metal? Our selection is all for you.

Essentials are invisible to the eyes

Although eyeglasses of every shape and any color are available today, essential or nearly invisible eyeglasses are a frequent demand. Rimless glasses where the lenses act as a support for temples and nose pads are for those who don't want to see the glasses, an illusion that hides them. Also appreciated because they do not limit the field of vision, the options for these glasses are many and range from minimal models to proposals made with precious metals. Beware, however, the power of your lenses lead the result and aesthetic performance which can change a lot when the eyewear is finished. Always ask us for advice, we will be happy to help you in your choice.
