Lo scorso weekend ha avuto luogo la manifestazione dedicata all’alta moda romana denominata Altaroma e che si è svolta in bellissime location capitoline. Roma uguale cinema,
Milano uguale moda…con questo imprinting ricevuto chiacchierando con amici e addetti ai lavori del mio imminente little journey romano, sono salita sul treno sabato mattino per questa mini avventura piovuta dal cielo alla ricerca di “new ideas”.
Durante il viaggio da Milano, sempre accompagnato dalla musica nelle orecchie (una meravigliosa playlist di Ed Sheeran ..grazie Spotify:-) pensavo a cosa avrei dovuto tirare fuori in termini di esperienza, in fondo mi occupo di occhiali…”ma anche di glasstylist mi sono detta”! E se l’accessorio deve fare da accessorio deve sposarsi alle nuove idee, ai nuovi stili e tendenze.
Spesso quando vengono a trovarmi gli agenti per propormi degli occhiali da acquistare per il mio negozio di ottica di Milano, DIECIDECIMI®, mi dicono “quest’anno va di moda questo colore…questa forma….questo materiale”. Non è che non mi fidi di chi fa il suo lavoro….ma mi piace essere originale e offrire questo lavoro ai miei clienti quando propongo le mie selezioni di occhiali e montature e quindi…vado alla fonte!
Mi viene in mente la famosa scena del film il Diavolo veste Prada quando una meravigliosa Meryl Streep strapazza la povera stagista facendole il resoconto preciso e spietato che aveva portato il colore ceruleo sul suo maglioncino….ecco provo a cogliere questa bella occasione per seguire questo intricato filo di Arianna all’interno del mondo fashion.
La prima tappa dell’evento Altaroma è la sfilata di Sabrina Persechino al Guido Reni District, una ex caserma votata alla moda e all’esplosione di “new ideas” e al mondo fashion. Da lontano intravedo una ragazza che sembra appena saltata fuori dalle stanze della regina Maria Antonietta. Chiodo di pelle nera e cellulare in mano la riportano velocemente a oggi: sono arrivata. L’ambiente è frizzante e caratterizzato da persone perfettamente a proprio agio in abiti molto fuori dai canoni conosciuti: è meraviglioso ammirarli e respirarne la libertà. La moda è una delle più belle espressione di libertà secondo me e l’energia che si avverte al Guido Reni District è davvero positiva. Arrivata un pò in anticipo sbircio in un padiglione dove sono esposti vestiti, scarpe e manufatti di pelle intrecciati. Tutto restituisce l’idea della materia che incontra la fantasia e trova attraverso le mani sapienti una strada.
Ma è già tempo di andare a prendere posto per la sfilata di Sabrina Persechino che sta per iniziare.
Con un lungo strappo un addetto strappa la pellicola di protezione della passerella che rivela un pavimento specchiato immacolato che raddoppia lo spazio.
Sabrina Persechino si ispira per la realizzazione dei tessuti e dei giochi di luce che ricrea negli abiti della sua nuova collezione, alla pietra Jaali: una particolare pietra utilizzata nelle architetture contemporanee che attraverso una procedura viene lavorata a grata e permette la visione in una sola direzione. Dall’incontro tra la pietra Jaali e la fantasia della stilista nasce il macramè geometrico che crea una particolare trasparenza negli abiti bianchi e lucentezza estrema nelle creazioni in oro. Bianco, oro e nero sono i colori della collezione che svolazzando leggerissimi sfilano sotto al nostro naso.
Colori sempiterni ma rivisitati a partire dagli intrecci più intimi di ogni singolo filo per catturare i giochi di luce. A fine sfilata la passerella specchiata è stata rigata dai tacchi delle modelle, come sempre la perfezione a cui si lavora da mesi è una dimensione sospesa e sintetizzata in pochi secondi di bellezza estrema, ma la soddisfazione è sicuramente eterna.
Chiudiamo la serata all’evento Chiara Boni nella boutique gremita di tanta bella gente in via Del Babuino. Ci accoglie un calice di bollicine e la bellezza degli abiti appesi alle grucce: morbide rouge sulle spalle di tute e tubini nei colori rosa, nero e bianco. Scatto qualche foto alle persone che mi circondano e inciampo in una bellissima Irene Ferri che indossa un tubino nero di Chiara Boni e chiacchiera con Eduardo Tasca. Nello scatto insieme a loro sorridono Giulia Caporiccio e Cristina Caruso. Infine mi innamoro di un simpatico gadget a forma di cuore utilizzato per sentire la fragranza del profumo della boutique e…per oggi mi attende solo una divertentissima cena con Giancarlo, Daniela e Ida che ringrazio di cuore per la compagnia in questa serata fashion capitolina.

Rome stands to the cinema such as Milan stands to fashion. Last weekend, however, it has been an exception to this “rule” since it was the Altaroma fashion weekend, which took place in some beautiful locations around the Rome city center … I came to know about this event almost by chance, but I decided with no hesitation to jump on a mini-adventure: just the time to get on the train and I was heading to the Eternal City in a quest for “new ideas”.
With an amazing Ed Sheeran playlist in my earphones (thanks Spotify!), I spent my trip from Milano thinking about what I was supposed to pull out of it in terms of experience, after all I deal with glasses … “but the glasstylist approach is right about this”, I told myself! And if the accessory is meant to ‘work as an accessory’ then it has to match with any new idea, style and trend.
When the eyewear company reps come to visit my shop in Milano, DIECIDECIMI®, to offer their new products, they often tell me “this color is the new trend of the year … this form …. this material.” I would’t say I don’t trust them, after all that is their job. However I like to try to be original and offer some kind of ‘uniqueness’ to my customers when I prompt them with my selections of frames. Therefore… why not to go directly to the source?
That remind me of the famous scene in The Devil Wears Prada movie, when a wonderful Meryl Streep mishandles the poor apprentice making the precise and ruthless account that the cerulean color on her sweater inspired …. here I try to take this great opportunity to follow this intricate thread of Ariadne.
The first stop at Altaroma is the Sabrina Persechino show, held by the Guido Reni District, a former barracks turned into a fashion and new ideas hotbed. From a distance I see a girl who looks like she just jumped out of the Queen Marie Antoinette room. A black leather jacket and a cell phone bring her quickly back to nowadays: I’ve arrived! The atmosphere is buzzing and marked out by people perfectly at ease in very unusual outfits: it is amazing to admire them and breathe their own air of freedom. Fashion is one of the most beautiful expression of freedom in my opinion and the energy that you can experience at the Guido Reni District is really positive. Being a bit ahead of the show time, I peek in a pavilion full of clothes, shoes and leather objects. Everything inspires the idea of raw material joining hands with the fantasy and finding its own way thanks to a craftsman genius.
But it’s time to go and get a seat: the show is about to start.

Sabrina Persechino is inspired by the Jaali stone for the creation of the fabrics and the trick of light typifying her new collection: a special stone used in contemporary architecture that, thanks to a particular treatment, allows the vision in one direction only. The mix between the Jaali and the stylist’s fantasy creates a geometric macramé allowing a particular transparency in white clothes and extreme shine in gold creations. White, gold and black are the collection’s colors, lightweight fluttering through the parade under our faces.
Everlasting but revisited colors, to begin with the intertwining of each strand to capture the trick of light. At the end of the show the mirrored catwalk is ruled by the models heels: a job aiming to the perfection and lasting months survives, as usual, just a few seconds of extreme beauty, but the satisfaction will last forever.
We join the Chiara Boni event held in the via del Babuino crowded boutique to end the night. We welcome a glass of sparkling wine and the beauty of the clothes on the hangers: soft rouge on the shoulders of suits and sheath dresses, embellished by pink, black and white colors. I shoot some pics to some nice people, I fall in love with a cute heart-shaped gadget used to feel the fragrance of the boutiques’ perfume and … till tomorrow there’s nothing more than a good fashion dinner for me.
