Founded by Max Wiseman & Co. in 1932, it aimed to innovate eyewear design and make gold filling the standard. The use of laminated gold in the frames offered the advantage of preventing rust and deterioration. The original factory and machinery used by Wiseman & Co in 1932 are still used to produce frames today.
